20-Minute Creamy Lemon Butter Baked Salmon Recipe: Gourmet on a Weekday

  • 4 skinless salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped flat-leaf parsley

This is how you make it:

  1. For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Add the wine and cook for about 2 minutes. Add the cream and mustard. Cook for about 2 more minutes. Turn off the heat and add the lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Place the fillets in a greased oven dish† Pour the sauce around the fillets. Bake in a preheated oven at 425 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
