Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti noodlescooked according to package directions
  • 2 large chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces (you can also use boneless thighs)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • seasoned salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces sliced ​​mushrooms
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup chicken bouillon
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup crushed buttery crackers (optional)


This is how you make it:

  1. Sprinkle the chicken with seasoned salt. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the chicken until brown and cooked through. Put aside.
  2. Add the remaining olive oil to the pan. Cook the onions, mushrooms, and thyme for about 3 to 4 minutes or until tender. Put aside.
  3. Add the butter to the pan. Sprinkle in the flour and stir to combine. Whisk in the milk and chicken stock. Bring to a boil and cook for about 3 minutes or until thickened. Add half of the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Add the cooked pasta, mushroom mixture, peas and chicken. Mix well. Pour in a 13×9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and crushed crackers, if using.
  5. Bake in a preheated 400 degree F oven for about 20 minutes.
