Have you ever tried raw papaya? sabzi or salad? Papaya is widely consumed as a fruit in our country, but what many people do not know is that you can prepare many different dishes with raw papaya.

Raw papaya is a powerhouse of minerals and vitamins and also aids digestion.

Here are some great yet easy-to-prepare raw papaya recipes.

Drain grated raw papaya.

Crush garlic and chillies; add cane sugar and mash until it becomes a paste.

Add long beans and grind to break them up.

Add peanuts and dried shrimp and crush to lightly break the peanuts.

Add fish sauce, lime juice and lime zest.

Add grated papaya and tomatoes. When the tomatoes are just slightly crushed, sprinkle with peanuts and eat.

Cut papaya and potatoes into small cubes. sauté some boric (dried lentil dumplings) and keep them aside.

Heat oil in a kadha, fry bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamom and cloves; add the potatoes and papaya.

Add turmeric, cumin and coriander powder. Add water and cover.

When the potatoes are cooked, add the boris and mix.

Serve hot garnished with roasted peanuts and coriander leaves.

Whisk together flour, milk, eggs, sugar and a pinch of all-purpose salt into a batter.

Cut raw papaya into thin slices and mix them with the batter.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Take a ladle full of the mixture and fry it shallowly in the shape of a pancake.

Fry each side until golden brown and serve the papaya fritters warm.

Mix grated raw papaya, green chilies, garlic, ginger, garam masala powder, coriander leaves, amchur powder, salt and pepper in a bowl.

make a paratha dough with atta, oil, salt and water. In small balls made from the dough, fill the papaya mixture.

Roll out parathas and fry them shallow in a pan.

Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.

Cut raw papaya into thin slices. Cut bell pepper or paprika into the same thickness and size. Also slice tomatoes in the same way.

Mix them all in a large bowl.

To this, add chopped coriander leaves, green chillies, olive oil, powdered sugar, salt and lemon juice. Toss them well to mix everything together.

Partially crush the roasted peanuts and sprinkle on top.
