Here then from the Provolone Valpadana PDO are 7 simple and delicious recipes, to try to experience every day of the week the unmistakable taste of this PDO cheese, versatile in its mild and strong versions, combined with typical ingredients and vegetables of this season .

One of the chef’s first delicious proposals is a light but tasty starter and rich in sensory nuances: cauliflower cooked with salted zabaglione with mild Provolone Valpadana PDO and poppy seeds. To start with, excellent fennel salad, wild fennel, marinated salmon and orange wedges with strong Provolone Valpadana PDO, amazingly fast but with great effect and satisfaction, both for the palate and for the eye. A recipe that shows how cheese can also be perfectly combined with fish.

Broccoli are the ideal partners of Provolone Valpadana PDO and go well with starters of both the mild and the strong. In the first case, the suggestion is a creamed broccoli and potatoes with mild Provolone Valpadana PDO, seeds and chestnut cream, a thick and delicious cream perfect to spoil yourself during the cold winter evenings, which can be made “gutsier” with a grind of pepper on the end.
