With spices like garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, and a hint of yogurt, this recipe offers an even balance of flavors making it not too spicy, but delicious. You can pair this sabzi with roti, paratha, or even decadent breads like naan and kulcha. This will also go well with the dal chawal combination.
Chicken Bhindi Recipe: How To Make Bhindi Chicken At Home
To make this chicken bhindi, you have to cook the chicken separately, then prepare the bhindi and then combine the two.
Heat oil in a wok and fry onions, cumin seeds, whole red peppers and curry leaves. Once the seeds start to crackle, add the ginger-garlic paste and fry the spices. Add the diced chicken and tomatoes. Mix well and cook the chicken for 5-10 minutes, or until fully cooked. Set this aside.
Heat oil in another pan and fry bhindi. Season it with salt, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chili powder and mix well. Now add the cooked chicken and stir until the okra spices are soaked into the chicken. Add a little yogurt and water to give the chicken a creamy texture. The chicken bhindi is ready!
