If you’re looking for a strong mid-week pick-me-up, how about whipping up these delicious gin-based cocktails at home? They are strong, supple and will instantly put you in a better mood!

Upper Town Martini:


Preparation time: 15 minutes

Make time: 2 minutes

Servings: 1


45 ml jenever

10 ml passion fruit puree

5 ml honey

5-6 mint leaves

5 ml lime juice

5 ml sugar syrup

5 ml lime juice

garnish with mint sprig


Place a martini glass in the fridge for 10 minutes to set.

Pour the gin and the other ingredients into a mixing glass or a pitcher filled with ice cubes.

Stir with a mixing spoon until the outside of the glass is very cold, then taste to check the dilution.

Continue stirring as needed until the martini is diluted and chilled to your liking.

Strain the martini into the chilled glass and serve.

Little bird



Preparation time; 5 minutes

Make time: 2 minutes

Servings: 2

60 ml jenever

3 slices of fresh green apple

20 ml ginger honey

20 ml Italian lemon juice

handful of basil


Pour all ingredients into a shaker and shake it. Double strain in the glass.

Garnish with basil.
