Lately we have seen Alice in Wonderland-themed cakes, a Matzo recipe to celebrate Passover and blue Mickey macarons. Now Disney just released a new recipe that you’ll want to add to the breakfast menu tomorrow!
If you’re a pancake lover, you’ll love Pixar’s new Sweet & Savory Pancake Recipe with the Toy Story pancake maker On storeDisney† Let’s get out those mixing bowls and learn how to make these delicious pancakes together.
ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 tablespoons fresh basil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups 1% buttermilk
- 1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese
instructions:
Prepare your maple butter by combining your maple syrup and butter. Blend until smooth and set the bowl aside.
Then, in a separate bowl, make your batter by combining your flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking soda. Whisk it together and then add your buttermilk and eggs. Beat until combined.
Now divide your batter into two separate bowls. Mix the blueberries and basil in a bowl and leave the other as is. Let your Toy Story Pancake Maker preheat for 4-5 minutes and then pour in your batter. When you see the sides of your pancakes starting to bubble, you know it’s time to flip them. In 2-3 minutes you have warm pancakes ready to serve!
