Easy, Quick, Refreshing Summer Drink Recipes

It is quite easy to prepare your delicious and healthy drinks at home to cool off in the summer heat. As the weather warms, 2.6 million sweat glands work relentlessly to regulate body temperature. In addition to quenching thirst, the fluid loss must be constantly replenished.

Here are 10 easy and refreshing drink recipes that can provide relief on hot days with ingredients that are probably already in our fridges.

Tea is an integral part of Turkish society and is drunk throughout the day, from morning to bedtime. But especially on hot summer days, iced tea can be a very refreshing and cool option. It is one of the most consumed drinks in the summer. It is both easy to make and for those who care about their weight, it is a good alternative as it is low in calories.

Ingredients:

half a pot of black tea

Some sugar/honey

2-3 tablespoons squeezed lemon juice

10 ice cubes

Preparation:

Brew the tea and, once it has cooled, pour it into a pitcher. Add the ice cubes. When the ice melts, add the lemon juice and honey/sugar. Add enough water to your mixture and refrigerate for a few hours. Serve it with extra ice cubes.

Ice Coffee

In the summer, iced coffee keeps you full and cool.

Iced coffee can be made from all types of roasts and instant varieties. For example, if you pour two shots of espresso into an ice-filled glass, the ice cream becomes Americano. Or if you add cocoa or chocolate syrup and put in some whipped cream, you get iced mocha.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons instant coffee

1 glass of cold milk

2 cubes of brown sugar

Half cup of cold water

2-3 ice cubes

Preparation:

Mix water, sugar and coffee in a blender. Mix it until the coffee is completely dissolved. Then add cold milk and mix until frothy. Finally, add ice cubes to the blender and blend until the ice is crushed. Pour the mixture into the glass. If you like, you can add grated chocolate, cocoa or cream to spice it up a bit.

Pineapple is one of the healthiest fruits. It supports the immune system, contains a lot of vitamin C and aids digestion.

Ingredients:

1 ring pineapple

1 glass of cold milk

A little nutmeg or cinnamon

Preparation:

Since you must consume this drink immediately, it is best to prepare it on a glass basis. Blend the pineapple with the milk in a blender, then pour into a glass with ice and add nutmeg or cinnamon.

Ingredients:

cold melon

1 tablespoon squeezed lemon juice

1 teaspoon honey

Preparation:

Slice the cold melon and mix with 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 teaspoon honey using a blender. Pour the pureed melon mixture into ice cubes. After freezing, put five melon ice cubes in half a glass of water.

Strawberry lemonade:

The pretty-in-pink strawberry lemonade is one of the easiest refreshing drinks.

Ingredients:

300-350 grams strawberries

3 lemons

Half a glass of granulated sugar

1 liter of water

Preparation:

Cut the stems off the strawberries, wash them and put them in a blender. Squeeze the juice from the lemons and add it to the strawberry mix. Add granulated sugar and a glass of water and run the blender until the strawberries are completely crushed and the sugar has dissolved. Add the remaining water and swirl for a few more turns and transfer the mixture to the pitcher. Refrigerate for an hour and serve with ice, lemon wedges and mint leaves.

Lemon sorbet with mint

A very tasty mix that will quench your thirst.

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon honey

Juice of 4 lemons

2 liters of water

3 cloves

10 sprigs of fresh mint

200 grams of granulated sugar

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and let it rest. Then add water and boil it. Place it in the fridge to cool down and serve it nice and cold.

Watermelon slushies are one of the tastiest and most popular drinks of the summer to accompany your cozy conversations with friends. In fact, this recipe can be made with any fruit you like.

Ingredients:

1 large slice of watermelon

7-8 ice cubes

1 teaspoon honey (or 1 tablespoon granulated sugar)

2 tablespoons lemon juice

8-10 leaves of fresh mint (optional)

Preparation:

Clean the seeds of the watermelon slices and place them in the blender. Add ice cubes, lemon juice, honey and mint leaves. Run the blender at short intervals at regular intervals to ensure that all the ice cream becomes a homogeneous mixture with the watermelon. Divide among glasses and serve cold.

Ingredients:

2 peaches

half a lime

2-3 sprigs of fresh rosemary

2 bottles of mineral water

Preparation:

Mash 1 peach and squeeze in half a lime. Finely chop the other peach. Add the mashed and diced peaches to the glasses. Pour the two bottles of mineral water on top. Serve with ice and sprigs of fresh rosemary.

Mint detox

Ingredients:

300 milliliters of water

1 cucumber

1 lemon

10 mint leaves

Preparation:

Cut the cucumber and lemon into cubes and throw them into the water. Wash 10 mint leaves and add them to the mixture. Let it rest overnight in the fridge. You can consume the mixture all at once the next day or intermittently.

This juice is easy to make. Just throw two bunches of parsley, the juice of half a lemon and a little salt into the blender. Parsley is a good alternative for weight loss and is known to reduce appetite.
