According to Giada De Laurentiis, this is the Italian seasoning you’ll be reaching for all summer

On May 13, De Laurentiis posted a beautiful and vibrant photo of a new, simple cocktail on her Instagram page @thegiadzy. She posted it with the caption, “Do what they do on the Amalfi Coast and make a batch of limoncello! This aperitivo is so easy to make and nothing beats an ice cold shot of it for dinner in the spring and summer.”

You only need four ingredients for that perfect summer cocktail, starring the show with a bunch of lemons and vodka. Making this recipe is as easy as it gets. Even if this is your very first recipe to follow, you can do it in a jiffy.

You start by peeling the lemons with a vegetable peeler and in no time you strain the homemade limoncello through a sieve.

Something to keep in mind is that you can seal the bottled limoncello for at least four hours before serving. Then you can keep this drink for a month!
