The UK is gearing up for a cheering long weekend with afternoon tea, street parties, palace celebrations and much more. In celebration of its platinum anniversary this year, recipe box Gousto has created a unique range of dishes, honoring Queenie’s foodie favorites with some unexpected twists.
The range includes a Venison and Pork Burger with Cranberry Relish – according to sources close to the Palace as the Queen’s guilty pleasure. Gousto’s version is served with chunky, double-cooked chips, truffle mayo and an orange and gemstone salad.
There are also royal all-timers like Coronation Chicken Wraps with Cheesey Nibbles and a Creamy Coronation Chickpea Salad on offer. But the jewel in the crown is a memorable twist on your typical Jubilee party spread, a Cream Tea Burger smothered in Rodda’s clotted cream and rich tomato jam.
The Queen Teas range will be available for two weeks via the Gousto menu, available to order from May 10 and first delivery from May 28. The full range includes:
