This is how you make it:

  1. Melt butter in a 2-quart baking dish
  2. Combine the sugar, flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Add milk.
  3. Pour the batter over the butter. Do not stir.
  4. Pour over the peaches. Do not stir.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees F for about 40 minutes. Top individual servings with vanilla ice cream.
