  1. The versatile basic twist

  • Take a pan and put the sifted maida in it. Now add salt, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg and keep these dry ingredients aside.

  • Now mix the butter and sugar together and add the beaten eggs to the mixture.

  • Add the milk to the mixture of dry ingredients and knead into a soft dough

  • Now roll the dough on a clean surface to a thickness of 1 inch.

  • Make the variegated cuts with a donut cutter and let it sit for 15 minutes.

  • Roll the dough out on a clean surface to 1 inch thick.

  • Make the variegated cuts with a donut cutter and let it sit for 15 minutes.

  • Heat oil in a pan, keep the heat high and add the donuts.

  • Keep changing the heat and fry it brown and let it cool for a while.

  • Dip in melted chocolate and enjoy.

Ingredients needed

  • 250 grams cups of maida

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  • 2 teaspoons butter

  • 100 grams of sugar

  • 2 beaten eggs

  • 100 grams of milk

  • Oil for frying

  • Melted white chocolate

  • Dark chocolate chocolate chips

Method

  • Mix all dry ingredients including salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg and keep these dry ingredients aside.

  • Now mix the butter and sugar together and add the beaten eggs to the mixture.

  • Add the milk to the mixture of dry ingredients and knead into a soft dough

  • Now roll out the dough on a clean surface, so that the layer remains thick.

  • Make slits in the dough with a donut cutter and let it sit for 15 minutes.

  • Heat oil in a pan, keep the heat high and add the donuts.

  • Keep changing the heat and fry it brown.

  • Let it cool for a while.

  • Drizzle melted white chocolate over the donuts, sprinkle dark chocolate choco chips and enjoy.
