New Dayton family restaurant with farm-to-table recipes

DAYTON, Va. (WHSV) – Brandon and Belinda Koteita have dreamed of opening a cafe-style restaurant for years, and now they’re the newest company in Dayton.

Harvest Table serves items such as pastries, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches, as well as lunch items such as a brisket sandwich and nachos.

The Koteitas say the emphasis in those recipes is on locally sourced ingredients, while providing a family-friendly atmosphere.

“All the meat has so many products and things like that, we can just buy it locally and coffee, our coffee is local, roasted locally and milk, our milk is also local, so we source as much as possible locally to help the community around us.” support,” said Belinda Koteita.

Belinda grew up in Rockingham County, while Blake is originally from Southern California, and the couple say the menu items at Harvest Table have a combined personal touch.

“The Laguna nachos, I asked her to marry me in Laguna, and then nachos kind of became our date night meal, so we went out and shared nachos, so we called it the Laguna Nachos,” said Blake Koteita .

Harvest Table also offers catering options along with the in-restaurant menu.

They are located at 3092 John Wayland Highway and are open Monday through Friday from 7am to 1pm and Saturdays from 8am to noon.
