DULUTH, Minnesota — A premiere screening for WDSE’s latest episode of The Great Minnesota Recipe took place Tuesday at Clyde Iron Works.
Over the past three weeks, the first three episodes of The Great Minnesota Recipe have aired, with each episode focusing on a different chef in Minnesota, all with a unique cultural background.
Tuesday’s event featured hosts and chefs from the show and guests were able to sample dishes from the latest episode. The final episode is a competition between all three chefs who create their own take on a Minnesota classic, the hot dish.
“No one at the station had done anything so big before. This has really been a massive undertaking to create our own local version of a great UK baking show and everyone has been really excited and the support we’ve had from the community and what we’ve heard from people who have watched the episodes has been just amazing,” says Ashlee Smith, Director of Content at WDSE•WRPT.
The final episode of The Great Minnesota Recipe will air on broadcast and YouTube this Thursday at 7 p.m.
