Recipe: Avocado-Bee Pollen Toast from Classic City Bee | Recipes

Scott and Doyle Johnson are the father and son founders of Classic City Bee Company. Both grew up in Athens and have developed a passion for working with bees. Over the years, the number of beehives has grown, as has their dedication to sharing their love for bees with their community and the world. They produce a variety of honey and products such as beeswax lip balm.

“The most common question we get about bee pollen is ‘what do you do with it?'” said Doyle Johnson. “We love taking a little each day to fight allergies and add some extra protein to our diet. But we understand that’s not for everyone. But the truth is, there are so many incredible foods that act as means of transport for this great product, this toast is by far our favorite.”

“This toast is perfect for those who love bee pollen — and those just starting to use it,” Johnson said.
