  1. Melt the butter in a skillet† Cook the onions and mushrooms until they begin to soften, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
  2. Add the cooked pasta, chicken, soup, sour cream, onion powder and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Pour in a 13×9-inch baking dish† Top with the cheeses and panko, if using.
  3. Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
