If you’re already paying the high price to taste this wonder of a fruit, you might as well turn it into something. Here are 6 easy mango recipes you can try without breaking a sweat.

Mango Smoothie

Smoothies never go wrong with any fruit. It takes barely 10 minutes to make. Chop the fruit, add some milk, sugar and whatever you want to your smoothies. Mix it well and put it in the fridge for a while.

mango iced tea

Start by mixing your mango pieces. Add some sugar syrup and water. Set aside some black tea and add it to the mango puree after it has cooled down along with ice cubes. It takes about 15-20 minutes to make this.

Aam Panna

This famous North Indian drink is a must for everyone in the summer. Cook the raw mangoes under high pressure to 2-3 whistles. Once done, let it cool and take out the pulp and store it in a container. Mix the mango pulp, sugar, salt, spices and mint until smooth. You can use the pulp for several days, mixing water each time you drink.

Mango Panakam

A traditional South Indian recipe, this one is easy to make too. Remove all the pulp from your mangoes and place them in a bowl. Add some sugar, dried fruit and poppy seeds. Make some puris or bake the traditional ‘ambati apadalu’ to eat with it.

mango ice creams

Although this recipe is simple, it takes a lot of time. Blend mango pieces, honey and milk to a liquid-like consistency by adding some water or milk. Pour them into the popsicle mold and carefully insert the sticks. Freeze them overnight.
