The internet is home to numerous recipes and cooking methods. A quick search online for your favorite dishes will give you tons of recipes to choose from and try at home. Gone are the days when recipe books were our only source of information! However, not all recipes available online are authentic and verified. There are plenty of experimental recipes that bloggers and home cooks come up with and share online. Recently, a Twitter user @JustinTarnation shared a recipe from a blogger named @jortskitchen. The blogger even put dry flour in his barbecue to give it a smoky flavor! Watch the bizarre video here:

The video has gone viral on Twitter, with over 3.7 million views and nearly 160,000 likes. “This fried chicken experiment has changed my life,” the blogger says in the clip. He first took the chicken wings and soaked them in buttermilk, then let them marinate overnight. Then he said he would take flour in a container and “smoke” it for a few hours, stirring it occasionally in between. The Twitter user asked in the caption, “Wait a minute, smoked flour???” The blogger then added some spices to the flour, coated the chicken in it, and then deep fried it until it was golden brown.
A flurry of comments poured into the bizarre video shared on Twitter. The blogger’s strange experiment of cooking flour in a barbecue grill didn’t sit well with users online. Many of them questioned the use of smoked flour, saying that flour would actually cook if fried with the chicken. Several others admitted that they were interested in using smoked flour in the blogger’s recipe. Others said they would rather use regular flour for the same result.

This isn’t the only bizarre food to go viral in the recent past. Recently, a weird recipe for Indian curry had also confused the internet. It was touted as the ‘National Court of India’ by the recipe book it was printed in.
