Amla is a superfood and we all know that by now. It has a rich nutritional profile and helps benefit our health in every way. Since the year 2020, we have even seen a sudden surge in the popularity of this vitamin C-enriched fruit. Nutritionist consultant Rupali Datta further states that a single serving of amla can provide up to 46 percent of the daily dose of vitamin C, which helps protect against the damaging effects of free radicals. “It helps slow the aging process and is needed for collagen production, which keeps your skin and hair healthy and supports the immune system,” she adds.

This quick and easy amla chutney recipe was shared by Chef Anahita Dhondy on her Instagram handle. “Amla is in season and you have to make this recipe! It’s an easy-peasy recipe and so quick to make you probably have all the ingredients in your kitchen,” she wrote next to the post.

How To Make 5 Minute Amla Chutney – Chef Anahita Dhondy’s Recipe:

In this amla chutney recipe we also use freshly chopped coriander leaves, green chili, ginger and cumin powder to enhance the flavor of the dish. And of course we also use salt and sugar to our taste.

First wash the amla and cut it into small pieces. Then add all ingredients except the coriander to a grinder and grind to a smooth paste. Add the coriander and mix with ice cold water if necessary.

That is it. The delicious amla chutney is ready in just five minutes. You can enjoy it with snacks and appetizers or serve it with our lunch and dinner meals.
