Amla is a superfood and we all know that by now. It has a rich nutritional profile and helps benefit our health in every way. Since the year 2020, we have even seen a sudden surge in the popularity of this vitamin C-enriched fruit. Nowadays people include amla in their daily diet in the form of powder, juice, tea or just sprinkle it raw with some black salt on it. Science and Ayurveda both recognize that the benefits of eating Amla are many. “It is one of the products recommended by Sushruta for universal daily consumption that transcends the limitations of body type and season,” explains KT Achaya’s book ‘Historical Dictionary of Indian Food’.
