While exploring the recipes, we came across a North Indian chicken curry that is immediately dear to your heart. This recipe is called chicken bhuna masala. This dhaba-style dish is prepared by roasting chicken in a pool of aromatic, rustic spices. What we enjoy most is the interesting balance of sweet-and-spicy flavors in the recipe. How To Make North Indian Chicken Bhuna Masala At Home:

To make this dish we need chicken leg pieces, dahi, whole red pepper, bay leaf, coriander, vinegar, cardamom, garlic, mustard seeds, cinnamon sticks, cumin, coriander, turmeric powder and salt.

Heat some oil in a pan and add bay leaf, cumin, mustard seeds, cinnamon sticks, coriander seeds, cardamom, garlic and whole red pepper. Bake everything together and let it cool. Transfer to a grinding cup and grind well.

Now marinate the chicken with the masala paste and let it rest for an hour. Add that chicken to the pan and cook well. Add turmeric powder and stir fry for 10 minutes. Then add salt and vinegar and mix everything together. Add dahi and cook until chicken becomes tender.

Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti or paratha.
